“talents” KATHERINE DRAGO
Mezzo-Soprano, JONATHAN BEYER,
Baritone will be accompanied on the keyboard by MARK TRAWKA, Director of Musical Studies and Chorus Master for
the Pittsburgh Opera to entertain those of you who are having dinner at CRATE tonight. ANGELA
MCATEER will “conduct” the orchestration of food with the help of her sous chefs of the night, MARK, KATHERINE and
JONATHAN. As a prelude to the
food, the musical duo will sing to set the mood for a delightful
evening. After all, music is a great
accompaniment to ultimate enjoyment of food. You will watch
as they all help ANGELA prepare
Italian food inspired by the many regions of You will dine on: Pate di melanzane (eggplant) • Risi e bisi (risotto with peas)
• Involtini di pesce spada (stuffed swordfish rolled in a lemon herb sauce) • Peperonata • Cassata (sponge cake filled with creamy
ricotta, chocolate and dried fruit) • Torrone al cioccolato e zenzero (delicate
chocolate cookies with crystallized ginger).
Appropriate wines will be served. All proceeds
will be donated to the The Capulets & the Montagues,
a Bellini Opera will be at the Opera
House beginning May 3, 2008 |
